Ski mountaineering in the Lyngen Alps

The Lyngen Alps are a well-known mountain range in Norway. Well north of the Arctic Circle, and raising directly from the Arctic Ocean coast until above 1800m (5500 ft), they offer excellent climbing and skiing possibilities (when the weather cooperates). Here are a few images shot late this winter.
