The Arêtes de Rochefort, somewhere in the middle of the Mont Blanc range, are a short but very impressive ridge. Traveling on it is like walking on a knife's edge. It is technically easier than it seems, but calls for undivided focus. Concentration and involvement are essential in mountaineering, and as in meditation, they are the main ingredients of a rewarding experience.
