This image illustrates well how lucky Finns are (even though few realize it): In most countries where such kind of scenery can be encountered, it is reserved for remote or alpine locations, far away from the cities where people live. But not in Finland: these hills are less than half an hour from the center of Helsinki, the capital city. Seeing that the light was becoming interesting, on a late afternoon, I drove from home to this place, strapped my snowshoes and climbed a hill, to finally set my tripod and enjoy the play of the setting sun and the clouds.
