Hiking alone in a beautiful place can wake the romantic in you: the shape of this island of snow bordered by a line of small icicles made me think of a heart the second I saw it. Still, unmoveable in a strong stream of glacial water, it evokes both the tranquility and the forces of nature. As to why its extremety is broken... even nature is not perfect! Another proof of how wild human imagination can be?
