Riding bicycles on a dune in the Sahara
I had the privilege today of meeting Joi Ito. He was talking about weblogs and the power of metadata and web services, and I got convinced. I had been thinking for some time that this website was seriously missing texts and stories to accompany the pictures, and wanted to be able to share those on a regular basis but I was not sure how to do it. Joi's presentation suddenly pulled a trigger and opened my tired eyes: weblogging is what I was looking for!
So I decided to go for it, the idea being to publish a new photograph every week, along with personal comments and a short story to put it in context. I'd love your comments in these first steps!
